Hourly Care Packages:
The role of a PA within an hourly care package is to work as part of a team on a rota basis. The majority of our care packages work from a 4-week rolling rota, which allows you to have consistency with your working hours. Dependent upon the needs of your client, you will either be required to work on a one to one basis with your client or alongside another PA. Your role will often involve personal care, moving and handling, domestic tasks and social requirements.
Live-in Care Packages:
The role of a PA within a live-in care package is to work and live within the client’s home, on a one to one basis, assisting them with everyday tasks. Our vacancies are permanent and can last from 1-3 weeks at a time followed by 1-2 weeks off. Your role will often involve personal care, moving and handling, domestic tasks and social requirements. In some packages you will be required to drive the client’s vehicle, which will enable the client to go to work, socialise, attend appointments, go shopping etc. Food and accommodation is provided whilst on shift.
