Holiday insurance
It is essential that you ensure that you have adequate holiday insurance
that specifically covers a pre-medical condition or disability. You should
arrange this with an insurance company in addition to filling in an E111 form.
The E111, obtainable from the Post Office, covers emergency treatment in EC
countries and allows you to receive care on the same terms as nationals of
the country you are visiting. But the E111 does not cover routine or continuing
treatment - do not rely on it alone. |
