    • Alexander

      Alexander – Client

      Paediatric Care

“This is Alexander who is seven years old. Alexander has severe cerebral palsy. He is cared for and very much loved by myself and my family.

This was done alone until we got a package with Complete Care. This has helped us in many ways, mainly allowing us to spend time with our other children.

Until we got this package it was hard to try and fit everything in, such as having fun and playing with Alexander as we spent most of our time being a nurse for him. This package has allowed me and my husband Rob to stand back and allow my staff to do all the nursing side, enabling us to have good old fun with our seven year old son, just as any other parents could.

We choose staff that we trust and are good with Alexander and we are very happy with this.”

    • PaigePaige – Client
      Paediatric Care

“Paige has profound learning and physical disabilities and is totally dependant on others for her care and quality of life.

Four years ago we started using CPA for Paige’s care after moving from another company. The transition across was very pleasurable and professional with staff keeping us fully informed, while also ensuring that Paige’s daily routine was still carries out to the levels Paige was used to.

Throughout our four years with the company they have always maintained the highest quality of service and care, in fact on many occasions going above and beyond what they already provided.

Paige’s carers are always educated and trained to all levels of abilities. With any new changes to the law regarding health and safety, quality of care etc, CPA ensures they are trained with the necessary qualifications.

When there have been issues, CPA have always ensured that they are resolved as soon as humanly possible.

Within the package we have the use of Rapid Response, which means if any of our carers are sick, they have somebody already trained to come and fill in – ensuring that there is no disruption to Paige’s care.

Paige has an amazing group of carers who provide unbelievable care, giving her an amazing quality of life. This is possible due to the amount of support that the carers, Paige and also we as a family receive from the company.

They are not only professional, but also understand that even though the home is a work place for the carers, they also know that it is exactly what it is – a HOME – while also ensuring that Paige is maintained within the family environment and we all have time as a family.

We cannot praise or thank CPA enough for the service that they have provided, not only to Paige but to us all.”

    • Colin McLeanColin – Client
      Spinal Injury

Colin has had a spinal cord injury for over 18 years at level C6/7. In 2008 Colin had a collapsed lung needing a tracheostomy and his team of PA’s started work in 2010 preparing for him to go home.

Colin says, ‘ My nurse team are very good and his team of PA’s are fantastic. I am lucky to have them and they have a great sense of humour which I feel is important. The whole team get on well together and this helps to create a happy and relaxed, atmosphere’.

    • Ryan Ryan – Client
      Brain Injury
“The brain injury my son Ryan suffered as a result of the accident had a massive impact on all the members of our family, but over the last three years, Harvey Kynaston, Case Manager for The Complete Group, has made our lives more bearable. His endless support, advice and access to other avenues of help has been invaluable. Harvey’s experience in brain injury changed the quality of our family life.”
    • Kevin Watts-TuckerKevin – Client
“Kevin was born in Boston, Lincolnshire. He joined the Navy when he was 16 and wanted to do something positive with his life. He first joined surface ships, but always felt that there was something missing and it wasn’t quite the life he wanted. After many talks with his sea daddy he joined the submarine service, which he absolutely loved. He had a variety of jobs on submarines, including being one of the divers initially and eventually worked in the control room. Kevin loved all the travelling involved and exploring new places, especially when they were in the States, the weather was hot and they were all round the pool trying to cool off.Kevin has always kept himself fit, so it is very ironic that he has suffered two heart attacks whilst in the gym under almost identical circumstances. However, the second one has done the damage, but thank goodness he is at home and has improved beyond all recognition from three years ago. He has always been such a fighter in life for all he believed in and the knock backs regarding his health. This time a lot of help has been needed – the improvement couldn’t have been achieved without the care, devotion and encouragement from all the PAs for Kevin and the support and belief from all the managers involved with him. The PAs are very good cooks (Gordon Ramsay beware!) and we have very creative and delicious meals. We have a lot of fun and laughter in our package and for both Kevin and I it is like having an extended family.”

    • Steven – Client
“My name is Steven and I suffered a C2/3 complete fracture following an accident at work when I crushed my neck in an industrial accident. I have 2 carers 24 hours a day and I don’t know how I would cope without them. My life is simple day to day tasks and I’m limited in what I can do, but I have just received an electric wheelchair with a chin control to operate it, which gives me a little bit more independence. My carers are very understanding towards my condition. I have recently come out of hospital after having pneumonia 3 times, but I’m a lot better now thanks to the help of my carers. I thought my life was over after my accident but with the help of my carers my life is now bearable day by day.I enjoy going to pub on the high street and drinking Jack Daniels and Coke – this is my favourite drink! I have a dog called sniff who I like to taking to the park to give her the exercise she needs and get some fresh air for myself. I like to be out and about as I am an outgoing person; I don’t like to be stuck indoors as this depresses me. I did not think life would go on or that I would be able to do these things, until I got my team of carers that is. I now live each day as it comes.

I have 2 children, Elizabeth 13 and Ben 9, who visit me on a regular basis which makes me happy. I have no transport at the moment as I am still waiting for my settlement from my accident and hopefully I will be able to buy myself a suitable vehicle to be transported around in. I have some very good friends that always come to visit me and take me to the pub with my carers. My bungalow has always got visitors in I get people all day everyday coming to see me and see how I am. I have a very close family which helps out day by day with my shopping and bills.

I am quite happy considering my injuries. My carers keep me going and always smiling and laughing. They are always there when I need a shoulder to cry on and they are very supportive and considerate. I’ve become very close to my carers, they are almost like family to me now.”
